Family Healthy Weight Program Implementation Basics

Overview
This four-part series will introduce participants to the Family Healthy Weight Program approach to the prevention and treatment of pediatric obesity, with a family-centered lens. This series will guide participants through key elements of the Family Healthy Weight Program model for real-world application.
Each session will highlight 2-3 steps for implementation of an evidence-based program, based on the newly produced Family Healthy Weight Implementation Guide and Microlearning Series. This virtual series will provide participants with actionable strategies for program implementation and sustainability.
Learning Objective
- Increase knowledge and awareness of the core components of the Family Healthy Weight Program
- Identify key steps for implementing an evidence-based pediatric weight management program
- Assess program success through evaluation methods aligned with program goals
- Address resource capacity and sustainability for long-term integration
