From Start to Sustain: Advancing Your Family Healthy Weight Program

Overview
The National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) will host a virtual 3- part series that will guide participants through practical strategies to strengthen and sustain Family Healthy Weight Programs (FHWP) and intensive behavioral lifestyle management programs. Designed for health centers and their partners currently implementing these programs, this series will explore real-world approaches to recruitment and retention, measuring health outcomes through key metrics, and building long-term sustainability through partnerships and billing strategies.
Each session will highlight actionable steps based on the newly produced Family Healthy Weight Implementation Guide and Microlearning Series. Participants will learn practical approaches for maintaining engagement with families, tracking program impact, and identifying sustainable funding and partnership opportunities.
Learning Objectives
By the end of the Webinar Series, participants will:
- Identify practical strategies to strengthen recruitment and retention in pediatric weight management programs
- Apply key metrics to measure and evaluate health outcomes and program performance
- Explore partnership and billing strategies that support long-term sustainability
Requirements
- Participating Health Centers must be currently implementing a Family Healthy Weight Program (FHWP) or an intensive behavioral lifestyle management program.
